Catch That Shadow
To take part in the experiment to find out how fast the Moon’s shadow travels across North Yorkshire, you will need to note the exact :-
  • Location of your observations (either as a 6 figure OS grid reference or latitude and longitude);
  • Time of the day when the Moon first overlaps the Sun. This first overlap is estimated at 10.03 in the morning;
  • Time of the last overlap on the Sun. This last overlap is estimated at 12.34, just after lunch.
