Personal comments | Improve my health by working on what I call sensible recovery from my Pulmonary vein isolation procedure. This involves a daily exercise program of walking and slowly increasing the intensity over many months. Stretching and self massaging my body on a daily basics is also very important. Very light weights are also important especially if one is not physical active. I have found that through all the years of having ASD and AFIB that being physically active (but not over stressing my heart ) is the best medicine. Any kind of house chores I do, painting, gardening, up and down stairs, and much more. For me the important point to remember is not to over exert. Over exerting or doing nothing always caused me AFIB problems. I feel it is very important to exercise my heart through the range of 55 bpm to 110 bpm every day or another way of expressing this is to say I do about 3 hours of moderate activity a day.
