---|
General health | Perfect Health |
---|
Current state | Living with Afib |
---|
Triggers | Lying Down, After exercise, After large meals, cooking with lots of herbs, spices, sitting for long periods of time. |
---|
Preventions | Lying on Right Side, Exercise - when Afib PACs / PVCs start, |
---|
Current medications/side effects | Flecanide 50mg X2/ day- However, does not always prevent all episodes - certain break through episodes - usually with a faster Ventrical response - have noticed 220BPM on an ECG when in AFIB w/ Flec.
Flec "on demand" ALWAYS works. 50mg chewed with Pedialite will convert 100% of the time 1-2hrs tops.
Other side effects of Flec - Some chest pain, lack of energy, vision - but, at the lower dose, one adjusts to it. |
---|
Past medications/side effects | Beta Blocker- Toprol XL - 50mg / day.
Caused more Afib then it prevented - low low BP, really low HR. Episodes were not noticably more controlled then w/o any med,.
Did not like the lack of energy and breathless response. Also - some feeling of "weezing" on deep breaths. |
---|
History of surgery | None |
---|
Future plans | Possible Ablation PVI, etc.
Concerned about stenosis |
