| Current medications/side effects | Warfain, Bisoprolol 10mg per day but I can increase to 20mg per day if condition requires. |

| Past medications/side effects | Digoxin - no real effect on AF
Flecainide (makes me very tired)- initially no real effect on AF but re-started in Nov 2004 after week spent in hospital due to AF.
After 1st Ablation - Atenelol (tiredness)and Amiodarone (stopped after 3 months). At the time I was also being treated for depression which I am sure was made worse by the meds and in particular the Amiodarone. |

| History of surgery | Catheter Ablation - Jan 2004 - partially successfull but remained on Atenelol, then AF returned in force in Nov 2004. After a weeks stay in hospital I have since had a further ablation in Jan 2005. Hopefully this has done the trick, although I will not know for sure until another 3 months once the heart has recovered from the ablation. Currently still experience a fast heart rate from time to time but appear to be in NSR. |

| Future plans | Just to get on with life. In the past the fatigue would really get me down and stop me from doing things. I also intend to lose some weight and generally increase my fitness levels, which is something I just didn't have the energy to do before. |

| Personal comments | The Cardiologist Consultants I have seen have been excellent but I get very frustrated with other doctors, as they seem to think it is a very minor complaint and that you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. |
