Past medications/side effects	verapamil propanolol (made condition worse) serevent previously taken for asthma increased heart rate Cardizem 240mg daily Tikosyn (dofetilide)no side effects, but I experienced increasingly frequent break-through episodes over the 1.5 years I was on the medication, eventually having a-fib every day for 10-12 hours.
History of surgery	several surgeries, but no heart surgery
Future plans	Hoping the flecainide will hold me in NSR until the ablation or other surgical techniques are perfected
Personal comments	Started Tikosyn Aug. 27, 2004 and had breakthrough episodes, approx. 1 per month, then 2 per week, and finally after over a year I was having daily episodes. Changed to Tanbocor Dec. 13, 2006 and have been afib-free since then.
