Current medications/side effects | Flecainide 50mg twice daily, Toprol 25mg once daily, Aspirin 325 mg once daily, Simivastatin 20mg daily Nitro-glycerine in case of chest pain
Slight dizziness now and then, not sure if it's flecainide or Toprol. Simvastatin seems to upset my stomach sometimes. No chest pain to this day, so far no need for NG |

Past medications/side effects | Dialziatem 120m was changed to 25 mg Toprol. Notice a slight decrease in heart rate 53 BPM resting. |

Future plans | To hopefully once again regain a "normal" life. Right now I am still afraid to venture very far from home. Up until my diagnosis, I was an active adult. |

Personal comments | I wish I had more information. My hospital appointed cardiologist is not one to explain much. He has said I should have a catheterization due to an negative stress test which showed blockage during stress. No restriction was seen when at rest. Since I have no insurance, the catheterization will not be done. Has not explained if there are any risks involved, but only said to not worry, and go back to my normal routine. |
