Current medications/side effects | Flecainide - seems to have increased occurences, however has decreased intensity of occurences. Have not had severe episode since start of medication - 6 mos. ago. However, it feels like my rhythm is off most of the time.
Warfarin - blood vessels in face showing, bruise easily and long term, still have not been able to level amounts needed to take - so blood tests every two weeks. I'm not eating as healthy as I was, because I've had to limit my favorite health foods: spinach, green veggies and cranberries. |
---|
Past medications/side effects | Beta Blockers previous taken - most of them seemed to make me tired. |
---|
History of surgery | Three C-sections |
---|
Future plans | Want to explore more options. Would like to find good doctor, alternative to lifelong medications and do not wish to go through random ablations. Working to learn as much as possible. |

Personal comments | Unexplained episodes starting 15 years ago, only recently diagnosed the last 6 months. High Blood Pressure for many yrs. Episodes generally hit without warning. Breif blackouts proceed some episodes. Heart rate and blood pressure higher than hospital equipment able to register. Over the years, had heart stopped twice, the third time this was attempted it didn't work, remained hospitalized and started med. therapy. Not sure what I need to do next. |
