Personal comments | My life has been transformed by reading Hans Larsen's publication "Atrial Fibrillation Towards a Cure" in which I read that often the Af could be halted by taking a bolus of 250 mgs of Flecainide as soon as the AF started.I have been doing this for several years now and it has saved an enormous amount of visits to casualty and subsequent cardioversion. My resting HR is 50 and when I go into AF my ventricular rate is 170 so my body is extremely stressed and I am unable to do anything until I am back in SR I have had a small stroke from my Af causing right sided hemiparesis |
