Personal comments | I realize that the use of digoxin is controversial. I've discussed it with three of my cardiologists (one of whom is EP) and since no side effects and no reoccurence in 10 months will continue. (serum digoxin level is below therapeutic levels (0.3 ng/ml). My mother had high blood pressure and atrial fibrillation. She lived till age 87.
My AF converts in less than 20 minutes post IV cartizem. Quality of life is reduced by curtailing travel abroad especially to third world countries. |
