Personal comments | First early episodes were diagnosed as "panic attacks". Holter monitor showed nothing, of course. Within last 5 months, fibrillation was much stronger and I was not "panicing". Drove to a friend who is a cardiologist and he immediately diagnosed the problem. Atenolol and wafarin, then my first cardioversion. Had exactly 24 hours of blissful sinus rhythm, then started fluttering and 100-115 heart rate. Increased atenolol an added flecainide, then a second cardioversion. Regular sinus with flutter episodes since then. And really, really tired. Reading all of the other entries has been very helpful. |
