Current medications/side effects | Currently taking coumadin, cardizem, lipitor, nexium, niacin and 81 g aspirin. |
---|
Past medications/side effects | Was taking flecanide but it made me very tired. I quit approximately 8 months ago. I did not feel any episodes of AF but pacemaker check revealed I had increased episodes from approximately 120 in 6 months to 450. Most were only a few seconds. |
---|
History of surgery | Had a cardiac ablation and also have a pacemaker. My AF is lone. |
---|
Future plans | Very discouraged as I thought the cardiac ablation would virtually eliminate the AF episodes. |
---|
Personal comments | I am not sure when I am having an AF episode or if it is my imagination when I am tired. I wish there were a way to check to determine when I am in AF. My PCP (not my EP) told me he can be wrong 50% of the time by just checking one's pulse.
Stroke is listed below, but I do not see TIA. I have had one, and possibly two TIAs. |
