Warfarin
Sotalol

warfarin was scary i was glad to come off it. my dr would like me to go on it again instead of asprin but i refused i would be more worried about the warfarin than the possibility of a stroke, and that is a constant problem with af. you have to go with your own feelings and live the best you can.
History of surgeryHalf my Thyroid gland removed 2000.

My thyroid was overactive. So it did not surprise me that my heart decided to do the same.

But my thyroid is now underactive and my body temperature seems to be getting lower. Two new symptoms that i have to get my head around. I am very concerned this will be too much when my af kicks in again. I'm very lathargic out of af, not my usual and af takes alot of energy from me. anyone else have this problem.?

We do not know in my case if it is the thyroid that triggered the af, as any problem would cause me to be over anxious.
Future plans
I get on with things as normal as possible when not in af. I try not to worry. (not easy)

I do not know when af will happen, But usually once a month.

I find my legs go very weak, unable to get up the stairs and then usually that night I will go into af. I wake up
in af and it will be afew hours after my next tablets that it will kick out again.
Personal comments
I find that people don't realise that you can be in so much pain when in af, my symptoms are breathless, faint, weak, I have to lie down after afew minutes of walking about and like a kick in the chest when it goes back into a normal rhythm.

And that I feel I am running a marathon while sat down.
