| Past medications/side effects | Atenelol - feeling very tired and ineffective, dizzy when standing up or bending down, cold handa and feet. I didn't like taking it
Amiodorone - would not take it again started it when in hospital - when I found out about the side effects told the doctor that I did not want to take it

| Personal comments | I am not sure how long I have had the condition. Was told after I had a TIA. The more research I do the more I think I could have had the condition for many years. It is getting worse up from 31% last year to 42% this year. I have little faith in the meds every working and I certainly do not want to take ones that make you feel awful. I think I have the Vagal type which would explain the averse effect of the beta blockers. I am really glad that I found this site, if helps to know that there are other like me. I only wish that the medical proffession took the condition more seriously, I know it will not kill you, but the symptoms are not very pleasent |
