History of surgery | Went into afib 10/02. Had a cath 2/11/03 and dr tried to remove and/or squoosh the "interluminal filling defect with mobile characteristics". It rolled away from his instrument and dissected the artery in the process.(In English, he said it looked and felt like a pebble stuck onto my artery wall.) Had immediate bypass sugery 2/11/03.
Several shock delivered during surgery for afib. Went back into afib 2 days later. Put on IV Amiodarone and held in hospital till afib stopped.Episode of extreme bradycardia a month later led to hospitalization insertion of pacemaker. Taken off Amiodarone and digoxin. Afib returned in 3 weeks. Put back on Amiodarone. no afib for 6 months.
