History of surgery | ablation on 3/2/06 @ St. Alphonsus Hosp., Boise, ID. Dr. Karl Undesser. Alot of afib for 2 mos. following procedure. - needed to be cardioverted from one episode that had lasted 3 weeks. Have self converted from all subsequent episodes (never ever self-converted prior to ablation). After the first 2 mos. had a month of uninterrupted NSR. Subsequently have had episodes of afib lasting from a few minutes to 6o+ hrs. Have started taking a 50mg altenolol whenever afib starts & that seems to stop it within an hour or so. |
---|
Future plans | In October will consult w/ Dr. Undesser on need/possibility of second ablation. |
